      Half Baked® got its name because the cookie dough isn’t baked, but the brownies are—has been a bestselling flavor since we first decided to combine our classic ice cream creations back in 2000.

      Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, with big chunks of chocolate chip cookie dough surrounded by vanilla ice cream, was created back in 1984 at our very first Scoop Shop after we received an anonymous fan’s flavor suggestion. It continues as a flavor phenomenon to this very day. Chocolate Fudge Brownie is a fan-favorite chocolate extravaganza, mixing chocolate ice cream with ridiculously delicious Greyston Bakery brownies. It’s been satisfying chocolate lovers since 1991. We know it can be hard to choose between those two legendary flavors. With Half Baked, you don’t have to!

      We work with Fairtrade certified producers for all the cocoa, sugar, and vanilla in our recipes. Greyston Bakery, one of the largest social enterprises in the US, provides the scrumptious brownies for this and all of our frozen dessert flavors. All our ice cream is made with non-GMO sourced ingredients and cage-free eggs. This ice cream pint, like every pint we make, features responsibly sourced packaging.

        Over the last month, I’ve purchased 4 or 5 pints of this flavor, and ever single time, the cookie dough has been hard and slightly chalky, and the brownies have been dry, shapeless, and just... gross. Before they were distinct cubes of chewy, rich goodness! What happened? Is it a specific distribution center or something or did they change the formula somehow? This is my favorite flavor of Ben n Jerry’s, and honestly my favorite flavor of ice cream in general. But not the last month... Consistently disappointing is how I would sum up my experience.

        I've been eating and basking in this flavor for as long as it's been around, but it's now awful. As pointed out by another, the cookie dough is like a stale malt ball now, and the brownie also sees degraded. But the cookie dough is horrible now. I thought this was a fluke, but I see it's happened to others and to me for the last month or so with multiple purchases.

        One of my favorite Ben & Jerry’s pints! I can’t not eat the entire container. The ice creams are excellent in flavor and texture and the brownie and cookie dough chunks are sublime. I actually eat this with one of my toddler’s little spoons so it lasts longer. Please never kill this flavor!

        i would regularly purchase Half baked ahead of other pints. it is a close tie for favorite. However the past 2 months i've noticed the cookie dough seems flavorless and powdery while the brownies that once had a glorious chew feel more like cookies. it's a shame this has happened i think this flavors headed for the grave.

        I love this flavor but recently purchased a pint and it was terrible, can't be sure if it was my local grocery stores fault or the batch was bad. Had a very odd texture it was similar to those dehydrated ice cream squares you get for camping.

        I tried this flavor for the first time and it's terrible. There are absolutely no brownie chunks and the cookie dough chunks that are in there taste like nothing. They are hard and dry. The whole pint looks and feels like dried cement. My pint had been out of the fridge for more than half an hour now and it's still as hard as stone. I can barely scoop out any icecream. The texture doesn't even resemble ice cream. I don't even now how to describe it, but I'll never buy this again. Waste of money. Never had any of these problems with other flavors.

        I bought a pint of half baked and two pints of chunky money and they were all freezer burned when I opened them right after purchase. I was going to eat this with my family who is going to come over in a few days but now I can’t even eat it myself because of the awful freezer burn. There was also a severe lack of cookie dough and the brownie was stale. Very unfortunate and now I am scared to buy any more pints.

        I've been putting off trying this flavor for over a month because it honestly sounded kind of boring based on the description. After having had "peanut butter half baked" a couple of weeks ago, I decided I would finally try out the regular half baked flavor. I was pleasantly surprised how good this was. The chocolate & vanilla ice creams mix together, creating a flavor which is similar to malt. It was like malted milk ball ice cream & gooey brownies got together, which was a great combo. I fully expected to be less than impressed with this flavor, yet despite its simplicity I was eager to eat the whole pint. Would recommend!

However, this ice cream is by far the most satisfying chunk-containing ice cream I've had so far! The chunks of fudge brownie and cookie dough are the size of my spoon AND are evenly throughout the pint. So ADDICTING!!!!!

        I love the taste of the ice creme mixed with brownie and cookie dough, and this is the perfect mix!! Unfortunately, the brownie and especially the cookie dough was extremely dry and crumbly.. hoping I just had a weird batch.
